A reference service, not legal advice

Crossnorm publishes data about gambling regulation: rule values with their sources, original-language quotes and dates, and facts from official licence registers and lists. It helps you find and trace rules. It does not tell you what the law requires of you in your situation.

This registry is a reference service. It is not legal advice and creates no lawyer–client relationship. Profiles marked “indicative” have not been reviewed by the authority concerned; “confirmed” means the authority reviewed the profile on the date shown. Rules change: check the cited source and, where it matters, the competent authority or qualified counsel before acting. Crossnorm accepts no liability for decisions based on this data.

Statuses and facts, not verdicts

Each value carries a trust status. “Indicative” values come from desk research and have not been checked against the primary source. Facts about domains and licences are worded as what an official list or register showed on a date — for example “listed on … since …” or “not found in … as of …”. They are not a judgement about any company or website.

Acceptable use

When you use the site, please don't:

• collect the data in bulk by scraping or other automated means, beyond what robots.txt allows;
• try to get around access limits, rate limits or the bot check, or test the site's security without our consent;
• overload the site or interfere with other visitors;
• remove the source, dates or status from a value you quote, or present a value as more certain than its status;
• present a fact from an official list as a statement by Crossnorm about a company or website.

Data licence

You may quote individual values in your own work, such as client advice or an internal memo, as long as you keep the source, the dates and a link back to Crossnorm.

Clients use the data under their plan for their own organisation. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the data — in whole or in substantial part — may not be resold, redistributed, sublicensed or used to build a competing dataset or service. Embedding the data in another product needs an OEM agreement.

Official sources

Licence registers, blocking lists and legal texts belong to the authorities that publish them. We republish a list only where its terms allow it; otherwise we show counts and single answers with a link to the official source.

Accounts and paid plans

Access to the platform, paid plans, the API and pilots are governed by the agreement or order for that plan. Where such an agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement applies.

No warranty

We work to keep the data accurate and current, and every value shows when it was retrieved and checked. The site and the data are still provided as they are, without a warranty that they are complete, current or fit for a particular purpose. Crossnorm accepts no liability for decisions based on this data.
